Save Time - Pay Your Bills Online!

My Bill Payer is a service that allows you to pay just about anybody in the United States from a touchtone phone or by the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

(Government taxing authorities and court directed payments, such as alimony and child support are excluded from this service.)

Security

At WCCU, protection of your account is a high priority. We use a communication protocol that encrypts all the data transmissions. We also have implemented enhanced security services for your protection against unauthorized access. They include a multi-factor authentication and prevention against phishing attacks to WCCU's online services.

Getting Started

You can sign up either online or in any one of our offices.

You need to fill out an application that takes approximately 1 - 2 weeks to be processed and for you to receive confirmation in the mail. After you receive your welcome letter, you are ready to begin making payments.

Processing Time

A Bill Payment is deducted from your checking account on the day you schedule it. This date is known as the processing date. However, you must allow at least seven (7) business days for payments to reach your payee. Payments can be scheduled 24-hours a day, 7 days a week; however, they are sent to the payees on business days only.

Although many of your payees can accept payments electronically, some do not. A check will be mailed via U.S. mail to any payee that does not accept electronic payments.

Even for electronic payments, it may take two or three days for your account to be credited. You will want to schedule payments to be processed seven (7) business days prior to the actual due date.

In Bill Payer, if a payee has an asterisk next to it, the payee will accept electronic payments.

If a payee does not credit your payment within seven (7) business days of the date you requested the payment to be processed, simply call us at or send us an e-mail.

Single and Recurring Payments

A single bill payment is a bill with a variable amount due with each payment. For example, your phone or electric bills are rarely the exact same amount each month. When you schedule a single bill, that amount is processed on the day you request and another payment will not occur without a new payment being scheduled by you.

Use the single bill option to schedule payments for bills that change with each billing and/or for bills that occur on an unscheduled basis (like a florist or doctor bill). You may schedule a single payment up to 60 days in advance.

A recurring bill is a payment that is due on the same day each week or month and is always for the same amount (for example, your car payment, newspaper subscription, cable bill, etc.).

Select the recurring bill option and a payment will be automatically made at the frequency you select. You have the option of stopping or changing your recurring payment over the Internet.

If you designate a processing date on the 28th through the 31st of a month for a recurring monthly bill, the processing will be initiated on the last calendar day of the month. Otherwise, a recurring monthly payment request will be processed on the date you select, unless the date falls on a non-business day, in which your payment will be processed on the next business day.

Besides a monthly recurring payment, you may establish many other payment frequencies (such as weekly, bi-weekly or semi-monthly).

Proof of Payment/Transaction History

Payments will appear on your WCCU checking account statement. You can also request an e-mail showing confirmation of a payment, or you may call WCCUs Bill Payer to hear a listing of your most recent transactions. You can also click on the Transaction History and you will see the name of the merchant, the amount paid, the date the payment was processed, and the transaction number, if applicable.

If the processing date for a scheduled payment has passed and it does not appear in your transaction history, please call 800.459.7416 for assistance. Your transaction history will reflect all processed transactions, whether done by phone or Internet.

Fees

  • Usage is FREE. You will not be charged any service charge for using WCCU's Bill Payer service. You may use Bill Payer as much as you want to each month.
  • Changing or Canceling a Bill. You can change or delete a bill payment (without a charge) up until 3:00 p.m. CST on the day you schedule a payment to be processed. (For example, if you schedule a bill payment to be processed on January 20th, you have until 3:00 p.m. CST that day to change or cancel that payment without a charge.) However, you can still change or cancel the payment on the following business day prior to 11:00 a.m. CST, but there will be charge of $15.00. Payments cannot be changed or cancelled after 11:00 a.m. CST on the following business day.  Bills can be changed or cancelled via the Internet, or by calling 800.459.7416.
  • Insufficient Funds. If a payment overdraws your WCCU Checking account, there will be an overdraft charge (per your checking account agreement with WCCU). If funds are not available on the requested processing date, your bill payment may be canceled.

Adding a Payee

To add more payees, simply use the "Add New Payee" button. To find this, first click on the "My Bills" folder. Then, select "My Payee List". Finally, click on "Add New Payee". Be sure to include the payee's name, address, phone number and your account number (if applicable) with the payee. If you are adding a recurring payment, we will also need the day each month you want us to process your payment and the first month you want your payment to begin.

Bill payments are processed by Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT). Please see the Electronic Fund Transfers Disclosure on the back page of your monthly checking statement.
