Business Development Department

Assistant Market Manager:

This is a Full-time opportunity available at our Baraboo and Viroqua Branch.

The Assistant Market Manager will guide and mentor branch employees in the efficient handling of members’ needs. This position will also assist in completing tasks on a daily basis. The Assistant Market Manager also works closely with the Market Manager to ensure that all Branch objectives are met; this includes aspects related to members as well as operations in the Market Manager’s absence.

Three to five years’ experience in supervisory management preferred. Experience working in a financial institution needed; three to five years preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing systems, filing and records management systems, forms design principles, and other office procedures and terminology.
• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
• Able to motivate, develop, and direct people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.

Lending Department

Member Business Loan Processor:

This is a Full-time opportunity available in our Westby Branch.

This position will require clerical and member service work, with responsibility for properly compiling loan documentation and transactions for all agriculture, commercial and member business loan accounts.

Accurately input loan data to applicable systems to prepare and generate the appropriate loan package by credit type, and ensure all documents are complete and the supporting schedules are up to date.

This position works with several supervisors, loan officers, and loan processing employees at WCCU. Also confers with the Compliance Officer as a resource on policy and procedure concerning relevant loan procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Post-secondary education in business, finance, or accounting preferred.
• Two to three years experience in a financial institution with a strong background in lending and loan processing is preferred.
• Excellent communications skills and proven effectiveness in working with management, loan originators and loan applicants. Also work in a courteous, respectful and efficient manner with all co-workers.

Member Service Department

Call Center Representative:

This is a Part-time opportunity available at our Westby Branch.

WCCU Call Center Representatives provide efficient and courteous service to our members while properly facilitating transactions, assisting with on-line banking questions, helping with card inquiries, etc. all in accordance with Credit Union procedures.

Previous related experience desired. High school education preferred. One to three months of related experience or training. Prior financial experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Excellent communications skills and proven effectiveness when working with members and staff. Also work in a courteous, respectful and efficient manner.
• Skillful listening, comprehension, and speaking ability to quickly decipher the needs of the person on the phone and relate the pertinent information requested.
• Proficient operation of a variety of general office equipment such as PC, software applications, typewriter, copier, calculator, telephone, copy machine, fax machine and other similar devices or programs related to the position.

Member Service Representative (MSR):

Benefited Part-time opportunities available in our Richland Center, Baraboo, Reedsburg and Viroqua Branches.

This position will work a variety of hours including Saturday mornings. Provide courteous & efficient service in a member-friendly environment while accurately recording and balancing all transactions. Willing to train the right team oriented applicant with good people skills, a can-do attitude, and a desire to provide our members with exceptional, personalized service.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Cash handling skills along with previous financial institution experience preferred; computer skills a must.
• Excellent communications skills and proven effectiveness when working with members and staff. Also work in a courteous, respectful and efficient manner.
• Skillful listening, comprehension, and speaking ability to quickly decipher the needs of the person on the phone and relate the pertinent information requested.
