Member Service Department

Member Service Representatives (MSRs):

This position will work a variety of hours including Saturday mornings. Provide courteous & efficient service in a member-friendly environment while accurately recording and balancing all transactions. Willing to train the right team oriented applicant with good people skills, a can-do attitude, and a desire to provide our members with exceptional, personalized service.

Part to full-time hours in Westby and Coon Valley.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Cash handling skills along with previous financial institution experience preferred; computer skills a must.
• Excellent communications skills and proven effectiveness when working with members and staff. Also work in a courteous, respectful and efficient manner.
• Skillful listening, comprehension, and speaking ability to quickly decipher the needs of the person on the phone and relate the pertinent information requested.

IT Department

Information Security Analyst:

The Information Security Analyst will assist the Information Security Manager with day-to-day security operations and duties, while also responding to endpoint security alerts, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) notifications, phishing email submissions, and requests for assistance from employees.

This is a full time, benefited position that can work from any WCCU branch with adequate space available.

Essential Job Functions:
• Monitor systems and network for security-related anomalies.
• Assist with the development of security standards and best practices.
• Utilize a SIEM solution to research a possible security concern, or troubleshoot a known issue.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Prior experience working in the financial industry very advantageous.
• Advanced coursework in systems administration, network management, and/or IT security operations.
• Working knowledge of systems, network, database, PC, Linux, firewalls, web filtering, and malware remediation helpful.

Programmer/Report Writing Analyst:

This position fulfills software development needs of the organization by planning, coordinating, developing and implementing custom solutions. The Report Writing Analyst duties of this position will include report writing services for the credit union and will collaborate with various teams such as marketing, research, and IT to achieve business results.

This is a full time, benefited position that can work from any WCCU branch with adequate space available.

Essential Job Functions:
• Learn the institute’s core system proprietary programming environment and write custom code to fulfill business needs.
• Learn the core system database structure and perform data mapping to assist in business growth and integrate with other systems.
• Serves as credit union’s report writing resource. Collaborates with end-user to identify needs and provide optimal reporting solutions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• College degree in computer science related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6 + years of programming and report writing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows based computer systems and Microsoft Office products.

Network Administrator:

Works with the IT Manager, other IT staff and third party vendors in installing, and maintaining all computer hardware and software. This is a full-time position with a complete benefit package. Position can work out of any WCCU office location with adequate space and temporarily can be performed remotely due to COVID-19.

Works with all data and voice communications and associated systems. Provide user and system support on an as needed basis, including on-call as necessary, scheduled or unscheduled. This position will require self-motivation and initiative.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• College degree in computer science related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive knowledge of computer systems, hardware, networks and software. Including but not limited to: AIX, Windows Server, Windows, VMWare, Horizon VDI, vSphere, ESXi Hosts, EMC SAN’s, Unisphere, Dell Servers, IBM Servers, Log Management, Avaya VoIP Phone Systems.
• Personal integrity for protecting and keeping confidential information as such.
• Strong prioritizing, organizational and planning skills for dealing with numerous details and deadlines simultaneously, with frequent interruptions, and under the stress of maintaining courteous, accurate and timely relations with a variety of individuals.

IT Help Desk:

The IT Help Desk Technician will work closely with all IT Staff to provide technical support for WCCU employees. This is a full-time position with a complete benefit package. Position can work out of any WCCU office location with adequate space and temporarily can be performed remotely due to COVID-19.

Completes help desk services for IT supported products and systems. Keeps the confidentiality of all information and keeps abreast of changes in the field of expertise. Maintains orderly documentation with attention to complete and accurate detailing of all problems or correspondence.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• College degree in computer science related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows based computer systems, Microsoft Office..
• User administration skills for Microsoft Server, Microsoft Exchange and VMware.
• Knowledge of other technologies including telephones, printers, scanners, copiers and fax machines.
